Letter of Gratitude
Dear Friends and Family of TMF,
As we close out this year, we pause with grateful hearts to reflect on what has been made possible through your generosity. At The Member-Meneh Foundation Inc., our guiding truth remains the same: connections create possibilities. Because of you, those possibilities have taken shape across education, the arts, athletics, and community, creating pathways of dignity and hope for refugee families.
A Year of Faithful Stewardship
Through your support, TMF has directed a cumulative total of $53,057.50 toward refugee scholarship support in partnership with Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA). These contributions reflect a shared commitment to long-term impact, careful stewardship, and ethical collaboration.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, TMF helped support scholarships for the following students:
- Kiadum, Grade 9
- Antonio, Grade 9
- Paulette, Grade 9
- Jacques, Grade 12
- Angel, Grade 12
- Deeya, Grade 12
- Anjali, Grade 12
Through our partnership with CFNA, these students are part of a broader network of 24 refugee scholars attending Lutheran high schools across the St. Louis region. Your generosity helps ensure access to faith-centered education, academic stability, and community belonging.
Honoring Our Graduates
We proudly celebrate the Class of 2025:
Thelma, Enock, Gentil, Ephrata, and Abishek
Their journeys reflect perseverance, service, and leadership rooted in faith. One graduate shared this reflection:
"CFNA scholarships have opened a lot of doors for me to grow and learn. I'll forever be grateful."
Home Through Our Eyes: Art as Voice
This year, TMF continued to develop Home Through Our Eyes, an arts-based initiative designed to elevate refugee stories through visual expression. What began as a single exhibition is evolving into an ongoing platform where refugees define what "home" means to them in their own words and imagery.
How we are expanding: We are transitioning this initiative from a one-time showcase into a recurring program, with thoughtful guidance and early collaboration from cultural institutions, including the High Museum, whose openness and insight have helped shape the future direction of this work.
Scoring for Change: Athletics with Purpose
Through our Scoring for Change initiative, TMF partnered with Serena Gray and Athletes Unlimited, demonstrating how athletics can be leveraged as a force for good. This collaboration reinforced our belief that performance, discipline, and service can move together to create opportunity.
How we are expanding: Scoring for Change will continue to grow into a pathway that supports student athletes through scholarships, mentorship, and access to recruiting and career resources.
Home Starts With Us: Looking Ahead
As we look to the future, TMF is preparing for Home Starts With Us, our upcoming flagship gathering designed to bring together donors, partners, and community members around a shared commitment to refugee belonging and opportunity.
How we are expanding: This initiative represents a shift toward larger-scale convening, where education, art, culture, and partnership intersect under one mission-aligned experience.
With Special Thanks to Our Partners
This work would not be possible without trusted collaborators. We extend heartfelt thanks to:
- Christian Friends of New Americans (CFNA) for faithful partnership and scholarship administration
- The Lutheran Foundation for matching support that multiplies generosity
- Lutheran High Schools across the St. Louis region
- Serena Gray and Athletes Unlimited for advancing impact through athletics
- The High Museum for early engagement and thoughtful collaboration supporting the growth of Home Through Our Eyes
- Church partners, mentors, volunteers, and community supporters whose presence sustains this mission
Looking Forward
Every initiative we grow is guided by prayer, accountability, and intention. Our vision remains bold and grounded: to help transform the lives of 1 million refugees through meaningful connection.
Thank you for giving, serving, praying, and believing alongside us. Every student supported and every story elevated begins with you.
With gratitude and blessings,
The Member-Meneh Foundation Inc.
Christ-centered. Refugee-focused.
